We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Protection Specialist to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of our Information Rights and Governance team, you will play a vital role in supporting our compliance with data protection and privacy laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and review information to ensure compliance with data protection legislation
  • Investigate and assess data incident reports to identify and mitigate risks
  • Support the full life cycle of DSAR requests, ensuring accurate and timely responses
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide advice and guidance on data protection and privacy matters

Requirements:

  • Essential knowledge of data protection and privacy compliance issues and applicable law
  • Previous experience in a data protection or information rights role, with a focus on DSAR requests
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
