Cardiac Physiologist

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital. As a key member of our Cardiology department, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Cardiology department and CRM service as a Cardiac Physiologist, performing device interrogation, optimisation, troubleshooting, and reprogramming of CIEDs, including ILRs, pacemakers, ICDs, and CRTs.
- Have experience with a range of programmers and devices from various manufacturers, conducting Echocardiograms, and remote monitoring on multiple manufacturer platforms.
- Support the wider surgical teams in clinical decision-making to reprogramme or deactivate devices before surgery, following BHRS guidance.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional, statutory, and organisational guidelines.
- Provide clinical supervision in line with statutory requirements.
- Be registered with the relevant professional body (RCCP, AHCS or HCPC).
- Be accredited with the BHRS, IBHRE, EHRA, BSE or equivalent, or be able to evidence they are working to that level.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work flexibly and motivate others.
