Job Description

As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the electronics and firmware design of innovative products, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to drive success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the digital and analogue electronics and firmware design from concept through to production, considering requirements, timelines, costs, and regulatory constraints.
  • Designing system architectures and concepts that meet project needs.
  • Utilizing Altium Designer CAD tool for schematic and board layout design.
  • Engaging in hands-on soldering and fault-finding activities.
  • Supporting EMC and electrical safety compliance initiatives.
  • Generating cost models and conducting RoHS analysis and compilation.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of design experience in digital and analogue electronics.
  • Proficient in embedded programming (C, FPGA VHDL) with experience in C++, .NET, C#, Java, Python, or algorithm development being advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Altium for schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Excellent report writing skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to engage in additional systems elements within projects, such as thermal and optical considerations.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office products.
