Tax Assistant Manager

We're seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join a well-established chartered accountancy firm in the South-East. The successful candidate will be part of a growing team, developing relationships with a diverse client portfolio and working in a hybrid environment. This role offers excellent opportunities for career development and professional growth.
Main Responsibilities
- Review and prepare corporate tax returns, including complex filings
- Handle HMRC enquiries and respond to client queries
- Identify and support tax planning opportunities for clients
- Conduct research projects and address tax-related queries from HMRC
- Collaborate with partners to provide advice on tax matters, including R&D tax relief and group reorganisations
Requirements
- Previous corporate tax experience within a UK accountancy practice
- ATT / CTA / ACCA or ACA qualification, or studying towards it
- Experience with tax software is an advantage
- Strong corporate awareness and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to manage workload effectively
