Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join our team at a Top 15 firm of chartered accountants based in Maidstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing effective relationships with a varied and interesting client portfolio, working on a hybrid basis between home and office.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and prepare Corporate Tax returns, including more complex returns
- Handle enquiries from HMRC and respond to client queries
- Identify and support tax planning opportunities for clients
- Conduct research projects and provide advice on tax-related matters
- Collaborate with Partners to provide expert advice on areas such as R&D tax relief, loss relief, capital allowances, and employee share schemes
- Previous corporate tax experience within a UK Accountancy Practice
- ATT / CTA / ACCA or ACA qualified or studying
- Experience with specific tax software advantageous
- Strong corporate awareness and relationship building skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Competitive salary of £50,000-£60,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable
