Care Home Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at The Manor House Roundhay, a brand new 65-bed care home in Leeds. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of our care home and ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.
About the Role- Assist in Overall Management: Collaborate with the Home Manager to oversee daily operations, staff management, and resident care.
- Quality Care: Ensure individualized, person-centered care for residents, promoting their well-being and maintaining their dignity.
- Staff Supervision: Provide guidance and support to care staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices and policies.
- Team Leadership: Lead by example, fostering a positive and respectful work environment.
- Risk Assessment and Compliance: Assist in maintaining regulatory compliance, including health and safety standards.
- Resident Advocacy: Advocate for residents' needs, preferences, and rights.
- Effective Communication: Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Problem-Solving: Address challenges promptly and proactively.
- Training and Development: Support staff training and continuous improvement.
- Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared to handle emergencies and critical situations.
