Job Title: Special Education Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated teaching assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and assist the class teacher with planning lessons and adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of SEN pupils.
  • Supervise and support pupils during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Cover PPA time and plan and deliver lessons as needed.
  • Record pupil progress and contribute to the development of individual education plans.
Requirements:
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident for at least three months.
  • Overseas criminal clearance or willingness to apply.
  • Child enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
  • Previous experience working with SEN children.
  • Experience covering and delivering lessons.
  • Minimum of three months UK residency.
