**Job Title:** Homelessness Prevention Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Housing Options Team as a Homelessness Prevention Support Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with our team of Homelessness and Housing Advice Officers to provide practical support to clients threatened with homelessness.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist clients with access to benefits, support services, and debt management
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans to help clients sustain their current accommodation
  • Provide general practical support and encouragement to clients facing homelessness

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum of a year's experience working with vulnerable individuals
  • Knowledge of the welfare benefit system and applicable benefits
  • Ability to manage pressure situations and demands from customers
