Clinical Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to join our cardiac team as a Clinical Care Specialist. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and wish to develop their skills in interventional cardiology.
The successful candidate will have proven experience working in an acute hospital setting, with a strong background in cardiology or PCI. They will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires flexibility, enthusiasm, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of coronary angiography, rotablation, stenting, cardiac implantable devices, and DC Cardioversions
- Work closely with the wider multi-disciplinary team, including physiologists, radiographers, medical colleagues, and admin staff
- Develop and deliver excellent clinical care, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Person Specification:
- Registered Nurse with experience in cardiology or PCI
- Previous Band 6 experience and/or relevant leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility and willingness to work shift patterns, including on-call and bank holiday cover
