Clinical Health Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Health Psychologist to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. As a Clinical Health Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing specialist psychological services to critical care patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- To provide highly specialist psychological services to critical care patients, including assessment, formulation, and intervention.
- To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the care and support given to patients and ICU survivors.
- To develop and implement effective clinical governance processes to ensure high-quality care.
- To contribute to service planning and strategic development, including the development of care policies and protocols.
- To provide training and supervision to staff within the service, including Clinical Psychology trainees and assistant psychologists.
- Accredited British Psychological Society (BPS) Doctoral Clinical Psychology qualification or equivalent.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Eligible for Chartered Psychologist status.
- Working knowledge of the practices and approaches of other key disciplines, professions, and agencies involved in the care and management network.
- Further specialist training and clinical experience relevant to the post.
- Formal supervision training/qualification.
- Highly-developed knowledge of two or more psychological models.
