The Role

As an Employment Coach, you'll play a critical role in supporting unemployed individuals with various employability barriers. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Managing a caseload of participants and developing personalized action plans to secure sustainable employment
  • Delivering coaching support, including job search assistance, CV development, and interview preparation
  • Promoting our employability programs, aligned with Matrix and Gatsby Standards, to clients
  • Fostering relationships with local employers to explore job opportunities and negotiate adjustments for successful placements
  • Providing ongoing support to clients and employers, ensuring sustained employment and career growth

What We're Looking For

We seek an experienced professional with a strong track record in providing high-quality coaching support, enabling learners to access employment and apprenticeships. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Experience in delivering CV, job search, and interview support to learners with various backgrounds
  • Ability to build self-confidence, self-esteem, and motivation in learners, helping them achieve lasting employment and career development
  • Capacity to identify skills and qualities in learners and match them with suitable vacancies
  • Willingness to undertake a Level 4 Employability Practitioner Apprenticeship as part of ongoing learning and development
