Logistics UK plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods across borders and through the supply chain, directly impacting over 7 million people employed in making, selling, and moving the goods that affect everyone everywhere.

The initial term of office would be three years, subject to performance, and may be renewed thereafter with the approval of the President.
The NED position is an unremunerated, voluntary position. Small stipends are paid to the Chairs of Committee and the Senior Independent Director, but not to NEDs that do not hold these positions.
