We are seeking a skilled and experienced Health and Social Care Trainer to join our team at KM Recruitment. As a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills & Employability sectors, we are committed to providing high-quality training and assessment services to our clients.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Health and Social Care Trainer to deliver training and assessment services to learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 5. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Health and Social Care, with experience of assessing Apprenticeships in this sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 5
* Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2
* Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted
* Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress
* Support, advise and motivate learners
* Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs
* Meet Assessor KPI's in terms of timely visits, learner recruitment, quality paperwork and general administration
Requirements:
* Hold either a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) or a Level 3 Teaching Qualification such as PTLLS / AET
* Ideally have experience of assessing Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care / Adult Care at Level 5
* Hold own Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, such as an LMC or equivalent
* Hold solid occupational experience within Health and Social Care as Registered/Care Manager
* Confident to deliver and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English
* Must have a good level of ICT skills
* Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle
* Must be flexible with travel and also remote home working
