Role Overview

The University of Bristol is seeking a highly motivated and experienced pathologist to contribute to the teaching and research of veterinary pathology. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and drive veterinary pathology research and teaching in the 21st century.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the teaching of veterinary pathology to undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary students
  • Lead aspects of the teaching of veterinary pathology, with opportunities to support wider aspects of the clinical and professional curriculum and educational research
  • Contribute to the provision of the school's post-mortem service, with particular reference to companion animals including cats, dogs and horses, and/or large animals including farm animals

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong background in veterinary pathology and experience in teaching and research. They will be able to contribute to the development of the veterinary pathology curriculum and lead aspects of the teaching of veterinary pathology.
