About the Role

Purolite, an Ecolab company, is seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Technician to join our UK Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of our manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in our Agarose Manufacturing Facility to ensure all mechanical & electrical equipment is safe, functional, and fully maintained to the highest standards.
  • Carry out troubleshooting as a key part of the engineering team to support production and continued safe operation to deliver manufacturing output targets.
  • Develop maintenance procedures and other Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental documentation as necessary.
  • Work with Process Engineer, Plant Electrical Engineer & other production/R&D staff on troubleshooting and improvement projects.
  • Ensure all maintenance (internal & contractors) work is carried out correctly, safely and recorded as per the procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience of fault finding and repair of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical control/automation systems.
  • Experience with three phase, motors, drives and instrumentation involving flow, pressure, temperature, and level measurement.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Ability to write clear effective reports and procedures.
  • Ability to follow complex work instructions and document completed work accurately.
