Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 HGV driver to join our team as a Tramper. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and delivering customers' products on a curtain sided trailer, using a handheld PDA to complete paperwork, and dealing with customers face to face and over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and delivering customers' products on a curtain sided trailer
  • Using a handheld PDA to complete paperwork
  • Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone
  • Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing customers' expectations
  • Attending regular training sessions

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must hold a UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Working to deadlines
  • Confident, polite, and a team player
  • Good geographical knowledge
