Job Overview

Smartkarma is seeking a highly skilled Independent Equity Derivatives Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our derivatives desk, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing, hedging, and automation models for our Equity Derivatives business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain expertise in Asian equity derivatives market-related strategies, with a focus on options trading and statistical arbitrage.
  • Design and implement pricing and hedging models for Equity Derivatives desks.
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify market inefficiencies and develop actionable trade ideas.
  • Communicate complex trading ideas through written and verbal reports.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of research or investment experience in institutional clients.
  • Demonstrated trading experience in Asian Equity Derivatives.
  • Ability to write differentiated insights and articulate trading ideas.
