Job Description

We are looking for a talented Paralegal to join our highly successful Real Estate-Business Parks team in Oxford. As a key member of the team, you will assist with various commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions and disposals, development, redevelopment, asset management, and landlord and tenant dealings.

Main Tasks:

  • To support the team in opening client matters manually and through computer systems.
    • To prepare and send quotes for legal work to clients.
      • To verify client identification documents and ensure they are accurate and complete.
        • To distribute client care documentation and check incoming and outgoing documents for accuracy.
          • To maintain compliance with internal and external service standards by staying up-to-date with practice issues and reading firm bulletins.
            • To participate in training when required and take responsibility for self-development.
              • To ensure confidentiality of all firm and client documentation and information.
                • To provide administrative assistance to the team, such as photocopying, filing, and retrieving client files.
                  • To use case management systems to perform tasks assigned by the team, including document preparation, searches, and reporting.
                    • To keep case management systems up-to-date, accurate, and effective to ensure proactive and comprehensive systems.
                      • To handle phone calls professionally, making electronic notes and progressing cases when possible.
                        • To undertake other reasonable tasks as directed.

Required Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with various individuals via email, phone, or face-to-face conversations.
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
      • Confident in using digital technologies and eager to embrace technological advancements.
        • Ability to adapt to changing workloads.
          • Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
            • Understanding of the link between individual/team performance and the overall success of the firm.

What We Offer:
