About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our specialist Weight Management and Bariatric Surgery Services team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality dietetic care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake specialist dietetic and psychosocial assessments and provide continuity of care to patients in the Weight Management and Bariatric Surgery Services.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care pathways across the Weight Management and Bariatric Surgery Services.
  • Provide specialist dietetic advice and guidance to non-specialist Dietetic colleagues and other clinicians.
  • Supervise and support other staff relating to the Weight Management and Bariatric Surgery Services, including the Student and Dietetic Apprenticeship Programme.
