Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispensing Optician to join our team as a Practice Director. As a Practice Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that the practice is adhering and achieving all our set operational standards, including our smart booking and diary management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the dispensing team and optical assistants to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality work.
  • Develop and implement operational standards and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
  • Provide regular constructive feedback and review meetings to team members.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • FBDO qualified Dispensing Optician or currently a Dispensing Optician / Deputy Practice Manager or a Dispensing Optician / Practice Manager.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with team members, peers, and clients.
