We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality psychological services to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver effective treatment and support.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a minimum of 20 hours per week of direct clinical work, providing fast response, stepped care, primary care psychology services to patients of General Practitioners.
- Plan, organize, and teach psycho-educational courses covering a wide range of psychological knowledge and skills.
- Maintain and forge community links as directed by the Head of Service or deputy, according to the needs of the service.
- Develop and maintain a resources bank for the use of the whole team.
- Participate in the Wiltshire Talking Therapies Service business and professional meetings as required.
- Qualification as a PWP (Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner) or eligible for accreditation with the BPS/BABCP as a PWP or eligible for accreditation as a CBT therapist with the BABCP and registration with the relevant professional body.
- Proven experience of working effectively with adults who have experienced a mental health problem.
- Awareness of stepped care approaches.
