At Whitehouse Communications, we specialise in integrated communications campaigns across public affairs, policy analysis, media relations and crisis communications to engage with decision makers in the EU and the UK. We are seeking a skilled European Affairs Associate Consultant to support our international team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a keen interest and experience in EU politics and public affairs to develop their career in a leading public affairs and communications agency.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality monitoring and analysis on European Institutions work, consultations and press releases, and advise clients on next steps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Political intelligence and policy analysis: Provide high-quality monitoring and analysis on European Institutions work, consultations and press releases, and advise clients on next steps
  • Stakeholder mapping and outreach: Preparing and updating stakeholder lists and acting as a central reference point for all databases and contact lists
  • Research and analysis: Preparing background notes, detailed briefings, reports, articles, research papers and consultation responses for clients

Requirements:

  • Graduated in a relevant field such as European studies, political science or other relevant field;
  • Demonstrable experience within the European Institutions and/or in a Public Affairs consultancy;
  • Excellent spoken and written English (Native-speaker level or equivalent), any other languages are considered an asset;
  • Excellent writing skills and willingness to contribute to Whitehouse own PR via blogs, articles and social media activity

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
