Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at our Bellshill Dairy. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our bottle supply equipment, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain bottle supply equipment, including de-bagging machines and bottle supply chain systems.
- Accurately complete bottle supply traceability sheets and maintain accurate records.
- Control and manage bottle and film waste, ensuring that it is properly reprocessed and disposed of.
- Adhere to machine operating procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Drive machine performance to reduce waste costs and improve efficiency.
- Assist colleagues with bottlenecks and basic problem-solving.
- Adapt to changing priorities as determined by customer requirements.
- Maintain and drive hygiene and housekeeping standards, ensuring that our facilities meet Grade A self-Audit standards.
- Complete relevant bottle supply documentation and log books.
- Supply performance reporting and recording.
Müller Responsibilities
- Meet all output requirements as determined by the shift manager.
- Operate all equipment safely, achieving required quality standards.
- Drive machine performance to reduce waste costs.
- Be customer-focused at all times, ensuring that internal and external colleagues receive excellent service.
- Assist colleagues with bottlenecks and basic problem-solving.
- Adapt to changing priorities as determined by customer requirements.
- Ensure work areas are maintained and clean and tidy.
- Perform advance site cleaning duties.
Requirements
- Experience of audits is desirable.
- Experience of working with stakeholders is desirable.
- Excellent team worker.
- Food manufacturing experience is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
