Job Title: Supply Operative

Müller UK & Ireland is a leading dairy company with a strong presence in the UK market. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Operative to join our team at our Bellshill Dairy in Glasgow.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain bottle supply equipment to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
  • Accurately complete bottle supply traceability sheets to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Control and manage bottle and film waste through reprocessing and baler use.
  • Adhere to machine operating procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Drive machine performance to reduce waste costs and improve overall efficiency.
  • Set up and change supply lines to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Identify and troubleshoot de-bagging machine faults to minimize downtime.
  • Assist colleagues with bottlenecks and basic problem-solving to ensure smooth production.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and customer requirements to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Maintain and drive hygiene and housekeeping standards to ensure a Grade A self-audit.
  • Complete relevant bottle supply documentation and log books to ensure accurate records.
  • Supply performance reporting and recording to ensure accurate data analysis.
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing is desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong team working skills and ability to work shifts.
  • Attention to detail, self-motivation, and flexibility.
  • Good communication skills and reliability.
