The successful candidate will provide personal care and support to pupils with challenging behaviour, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to pupils with PMLD, including assistance with daily living tasks and mobility.
- Support pupils with challenging behaviour, using positive reinforcement techniques and de-escalation strategies.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff to develop and implement individualised education plans.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional development of pupils.
Requirements:
- Strong academic background, preferably in a related field.
- Previous experience working with pupils with PMLD or similar learning disabilities.
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training, or willingness to complete.
