Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our client's UK legal team in Warwickshire. As a Legal Counsel, you will play a critical role in supporting the business in delivering its ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the business with commercial contracts, including partnership and collaboration agreements, heads of terms, equipment hire, mobile contracts, screening contracts, IT and SaaS agreements, and data protection.
- Assist with procurement, including supporting the business with new regimes.
- Work on property and construction matters, including JCT, warranties, engagement of architects and engineers, development agreements, and long-term leases.
- Manage disputes, including complaints and managing external lawyers.
- Support the Quality & Risk team with reviewing and drafting policies.
- Provide training to unit manager teams across the country, advising on new legislation, best practice, and training.
Requirements:
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with a commercial risk appetite.
- Ability to work closely with the Head of Legal and a more junior lawyer in the UK team, as well as with other stakeholders across the business.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
