Business Development Director

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to drive commercial growth and expansion in our organization. As a key member of our senior team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic commercial plans that deliver strong year-on-year sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish a standard of commercial leadership excellence to support our purpose priorities and strategic vision.
- Develop and implement strategic commercial plans that drive business growth and expansion.
- Build and maintain close relationships with key players within our customer base.
- Drive alignment and prioritization of commercial strategies and plans.
- Drive the exploitation of new disruptive technologies.
- Deliver sales projects and initiatives to completion, providing regular status reports.
- Create and execute strategic demand initiatives targeting short and longer-term results.
- Conduct market and user-based research to understand strategic, tactical, and commercial opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- 10+ years of experience in a full life cycle engineering manufacturing and AM environment with sales or marketing.
- Degree qualified or Apprentice trained in Engineering/Manufacturing/Marketing or similar calibre/QBE.
- Proven commercial success in the exploitation of new technologies and building strong commercial relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and mentor internally and externally.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
