About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team at s.m.s, smart microwave sensors GmbH. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific segment of our traffic management products, helping to define optimal technical features for market success and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain close contact with customers to collect requirements and feedback
  • Support the definition of product specifications and roadmaps
  • Document products, gather and structure technical content, and understand users' documentation needs
  • Develop and maintain installation and setup documentation for customers of our products
  • Release and distribute product documentation
  • Maintain consistency between product terminology and documentation and coordinate translations
  • Participate in cross-functional product teams and communicate requirements and customer feedback to technical development teams
Requirements
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and knowledge of a CMS
  • Motivation to understand and learn complex and new technologies quickly
  • Flexibility to handle product changes during development and meet release deadlines
  • Strong verbal communication skills for regular consultations with team members
  • Organisational skills and the ability to distinguish between irrelevant and important technical content
  • Ability to evaluate each product thoroughly to understand product installation and setup
