Eden Scott, a leading offshore wind developer, seeks an Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Lead to join their entrepreneurial team. With a strong background in electrical engineering and grid experience, this candidate will drive the development of power systems modeling and design.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the electrical power systems team in modeling and designing high-voltage systems.
  • Apply UK grid codes to power system designs, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Manage specification writing, consultancy work scopes, and delivery reviews for power system study requirements.
  • Support the development of engineering tender requirements for electrical equipment.
  • Collaborate with electrical cable, plant, and wind farm engineers, as well as electrical protection and control system engineers during design stages.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in power systems engineering, modeling both wind turbine generators and transmission systems.
  • Knowledge of software tools for static and dynamic studies, such as DIgSILENT Power Factory, PSSE, and PSCAD.
  • Understanding of GB grid regulatory frameworks, policy change mechanisms, and relevant standards applicable to primary electrical plant.
  • Detail-oriented approach to design and analysis.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus up to 20% bonus.
