The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced 1:1 tutor to work with secondary school pupils in Essex. The ideal candidate will be able to create tailored lesson plans to bridge gaps in education and boost engagement and attainment levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized lessons to pupils in their homes or within the community
- Assess and address learning gaps to improve pupil engagement and attainment
- Work closely with Prospero Teaching to monitor pupil progression and support effective learning
Contract Details:
- Location: Within the community or pupils' homes in Essex
- Position: 1:1 Tutor
- Type of work: Contract
- Duration: Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement
- Contract type: Temporary
- Full-time/part-time: Part-time (15 hours per week, per student)
- Minimum rate of pay: £25 per hour
Requirements:
- Experience working with secondary school pupils
