Job Title: Graduate Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide support to students with additional needs, ensuring they have access to learning and make progress within the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in their learning and personal development to maximize their progress.
  • Assist fellow staff members in ensuring that students with additional needs receive appropriate support, engage in their learning, and become integrated into the school community.
  • Support students' learning in class and in 1-1 or small group settings under the guidance of the subject teacher.
  • Facilitate small group and 1-1 interventions for identified students under the direction of the SENDCO.
  • Aid in the mobility of students with physical disabilities and/or sensory impairments within the school.
  • Provide support for the personal care needs of students with physical disabilities.
  • Collaborate to eliminate learning barriers for students with SEND using a creative, child-centered, and empathetic approach.
