Battery Design Team Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Battery Design Team Lead to join our rapidly growing precision engineering company. As a key member of our Powertrain department, you will lead the mechanical design and development of Battery for EV.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement Continuing Professional Development (CPD) plans to enhance competence and mentor team members.
  2. Lead the design and development of Battery for EV, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  3. Approve Statements of Work, Interface Agreements, and Collaboration Management Plans for outsourced packages of work.
  4. Review and approve design evidence, ensuring it is recorded for use in design reviews.
  5. Serve as a subject matter expert and design authority on major engineering systems or development processes.
Requirements
  1. Strong knowledge and experience in high-level CAD packages (Catia / NX).
  2. Experience in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) process.
  3. Full project lifecycle and background in designing batteries.
