Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the success of our business. As a Generator Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing generators across various brands, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of approximately £40,000 per annum, plus additional benefits including:

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements
  • Conducting load bank testing on customer-owned generator units
  • Fault finding and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues
  • Repairing and replacing engine components as required
  • Completing projects and assisting with mechanical engine rebuilds and overhauls
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in generator services or a related field
  • Valid CSCS/ECS card
  • Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds 17th/18th edition)
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
