Soha Housing is a successful, award-winning, community-based mutualised housing association. We have a brilliant staff team of around 150 colleagues, who show us every day how much they care about our work and its impact on our tenants, neighbourhoods, and communities.

Our vision is to create strong, vibrant, and sustainable communities where everyone can find a home. To achieve this, we are launching a new in-house contractor business, Soha Response, which will deliver repairs and maintenance services to our customers.

This role offers the opportunity to lead Soha Response, managing all aspects of the business, including development, delivery, and ongoing provision of a high standard service to Soha residents. You will be responsible for challenging KPIs and reporting to the subsidiary and main boards.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in leading commercial repairs and maintenance services, with a sound understanding of the built environment and current compliance requirements within social housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deliver, and maintain a high-performing in-house contractor team.
  • Manage external pressures and market conditions.
  • Deliver better social value outcomes.
  • Offer genuine value for money.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in leading commercial repairs and maintenance services.
  • A sound understanding of the built environment.
  • Current compliance requirements within social housing.
  • Experience in reactive, planned, statutory, and non-statutory preventative maintenance programmes.

Salary: £95,000 + excellent benefits. In line with industry standards, your salary will reflect your experience and skills.
