Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Catch22 is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our students, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring that students receive a high-quality education.
  • Work with small groups of students, providing individualized support and guidance to help them overcome challenges.
  • Help to implement lesson plans, aims, and contents, providing feedback to students and supporting teachers in testing and assessment.
  • Deliver SEN interventions, working with students who require additional support.
  • Deal with behavioral and special needs issues, in conjunction with teachers.
Requirements:
  • A Level 2 Qualification in English and Maths (minimum).
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements of health and safety, SEN, and child safeguarding.
  • Ability to work independently with groups or individual students, supported by teachers.
  • Ability to work with challenging students, understanding their needs and demonstrating effective behavior management strategies.
  • Experience of working at an advanced level, with teachers, in planning and delivering teaching activities.
  • Experience of teaching children with Education Health Care Plans, and Special Educational Needs, including language difficulties or other complex needs.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £19, £21,349.29 pro-rata (based on £23,000 - £24,960 full-time equivalent per annum).
  • Full-time, 37 hours per week (Term Time Only, 39 Weeks).
  • A fixed-term contract until July 2025.
