Job Title: Site Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Civil Engineer to join our team at SEIMAF UK. As a Site Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of civil engineering works on the Hinkley Point C site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, analyze, and verify the consistency of input data.
  • Produce technical deliverables, including design hypotheses, methodology, and assumption notes, calculation notes.
  • Perform technical verifications of civil engineering design notes, models, and drawings.
  • Manage transverse civil engineering open points through to resolution, review, and acceptance of Level 3 Civil Design Substantiation Reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistency of civil transverse knowledge and approach across the full scope of Nuclear Island Buildings.
  • Support site-based engineering teams to facilitate resolution of issues that can impact site construction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in design of concrete structures.
  • Experience in detailed design or conceptual design in an office or on a civil construction site.
  • Experience with site design support.
