Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

At Polaris Community, we are seeking an experienced Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people.

About the Role
  • Provide a caring and motivating environment for the young people in our care.
  • Plan and prepare activities that meet the individual needs of the young people and stimulate their learning and integration within the home.
  • Maintain accurate records of the young people's progress and achievements.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team and staff to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with teenage boys or challenging behaviour.
  • Hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle.
  • Hold a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/Children and Young People's Workforce/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Be willing to engage the young people in a wide range of activities and support them through their time at Apple Orchard.
