Job Title: Senior Accountant with Leadership Role

Company Overview: Triumph Consultants Ltd is a successful consulting firm seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.

Salary: This role offers an estimated salary of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role and work in the housing sector. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a team, producing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of monthly management accounts and annual budgets
  • Preparation of period forecasts and financial reports
  • Liaison with stakeholders to discuss and review financial information
  • Maintenance of technical accounting knowledge
  • Management of workload, delivery, and development of assistant accountants
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and journal processing
  • Review of assistant accountants' work
  • Variance analysis

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12 months recent experience in a similar role
  • CIMA/ACCA/AAT qualified or significant demonstrable management accounts experience
  • Experience of working alongside budget holders and directors
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Knowledge of accountancy software and financial systems
