Senior Animal Health Director

We are currently looking for a Senior Animal Health Director to join our team at bvsjobs.co - Jobboard.
In this role, you will oversee the practice and its staff, ensuring exceptional care is provided to clients and animals. You'll also be involved in the practice's operations and will be rewarded for your contributions.
To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 2 years' experience (UK or equivalent) and be a registered Veterinary Surgeon with the RCVS. Experience in diagnostic imaging and a certificate in medicine are highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities and a genuine passion for animal health. They must also possess strong management and mentorship skills, as they will be a key member of the team.
This role requires working 40 hours a week, spread across 4 days, offering a great work-life balance. The shift pattern includes 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends.
The estimated salary for this position is up to £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. The package includes:
- 5 weeks' annual leave (FTE)
- 4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)
