Vehicle Interior Ambient Lighting Specialist

As a leading provider of automotive lighting solutions, Apex Resource Management is seeking a talented Interior Illumination Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative interior lighting systems that enhance the user experience. You will work closely with industry counterparts to define lighting functions, systems, and architectures that deliver exceptional interior lighting features for upcoming vehicle models. With a strong background in automotive lighting electronics and project delivery, you will lead the development and delivery of pre-series and series automotive interior lighting solutions. Your expertise in the integration of software and hardware releases following internal product development processes will enable you to oversee the end-to-end delivery of interior lighting systems, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, awaits the successful candidate. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional growth and development. Key responsibilities include defining and developing innovative interior lighting systems, capturing functional and software requirements, creating detailed specifications, and managing test plans. You will also be responsible for overseeing software and hardware releases, project managing the end-to-end delivery of interior lighting systems, coordinating product validation and integration, and maintaining full ownership of the interior lighting development process.
