Inventory Manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Inventory Manager to join our small procurement and inventory control team in Shrewsbury.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a similar stock control or purchasing role, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain system inventory levels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Maximize supplier discounts and performance through effective procurement practices
- Ensure optimal stock level holding using MRP for forecasting
- Assist in sourcing new suppliers and raising purchase orders
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain or inventory management
- Excellent analytical skills and IT literacy (MS Excel and MRP/ERP systems)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
