About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Site Engineer to join Fawkes & Reece South, a leading Main Contractor, on a large-scale industrial project in the UK. As a key member of our project team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of this project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying for groundwork and structural elements
- Monitoring and reporting on site progress, addressing any issues or discrepancies
- Liaising with the project management team, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth delivery and coordination
- Implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards on site
- Supporting the project manager in driving the project to successful completion within time and budget
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a site engineer, ideally with industrial and deep earthworks
- CSCS card and 1st Aid
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project
- Strong understanding of groundworks, including setting out and surveying
- Relevant engineering qualification
