Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Site Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning of two train depots on a rotation basis of 5 over 7 days – 10pm to 6am – Including weekends.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cleaning management, with experience in overseeing a team of operatives to ensure agreed cleaning standards are achieved and maintained and all site/periodic spends come within budgeted working hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure target staffing levels at site are achieved and maintained at all times.
  • Collate and process weekly payroll and HR information.
  • Train and manage site supervisors in Health & Safety and cleaning tasks.
  • Ensure employees adhere to the Company Health and Safety procedure at all times.
  • Ensure all KPI's are completed by deadlines.
  • Carry out quality inspections with the customer or their representative monthly.
  • Recruit, develop and place cleaning staff.
  • Maintain accurate staff records to include any leave and absence.

Requirements

  • A 5-year checkable work history.
  • Awareness of COSHH, H&S and IOSH.
  • Experience within a similar Cleaning Management role.
  • Ideally exposure to cleaning of depots of trains/stations.
  • A willingness to contribute to the development and implementation of the overall ethos/work/aims of Churchill.
  • Ability to multi-task with a methodical approach with an ability to work under pressure.
  • The ability to adhere to manual handling and health and safety regulations as required.
