  • Job Summary
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Element Solutions Inc. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for scale-up process from R&D to manufacturing, optimizing and troubleshooting existing manufacturing processes, and sourcing and specifying new equipment and machinery.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Manage scale-up process from R&D to manufacturing, ensuring effective and robust production processes.
  • Work with R&D to complete DFMEA and prepare necessary inputs for PFMEA.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing to conduct manufacturing capability studies, explore manufacturing risks, and implement measures to reduce them.
  • Develop manufacturing and testing processes, focusing on safety, quality, and repeatability for new product development and continuous improvement projects.
  • Work with production teams to resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment, and product design.
  • Develop and teach operating procedures to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Sourcing, specifying, and involved with installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
  • Implement innovative ideas to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Implement process improvements to achieve/exceed company KPI targets.
  • Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering, or a similar related degree or proven relevant experience in a process engineer role.
  • Willingness to participate in practical work in a cross-functional team.
  • Understanding of manufacturing production processes, ideally in a chemical blending environment, with experience of different chemical blending processes.
  • Experience managing complex and varied projects.
  • Sound knowledge of a wide variety of production equipment, with the ability to develop and write processes for manual instructions and HMI systems in automated equipment.
  • Strong core project management skills, including planning, risk management, and stakeholder management.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with proficient numeracy, written, and verbal skills.
  • Strong understanding of technology to improve services.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of basic finance principles (budgets, ROI, etc.).
  • Ongoing commitment to training and continuous personal development.
