As a Delivery Station Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Shift Managers and Shift Assistants, overseeing the operational goals and metrics of your Delivery Station, and presenting your findings to the senior leadership team.



In this role, you will work closely with key business partners, such as Transport & Sortation, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES and Engineering, to ensure the smooth operation of the Delivery Station. You will also be responsible for tracking and driving operational goals and metrics, as well as supporting all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and Delivery Service Providers.



Key Responsibilities


In this role, you will be responsible for:


  • Reviewing the operational forecast and determining productivity requirements for the delivery station.
  • Managing a team group to meet all building's goals.
  • Supporting all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and Delivery Service Providers.



Supervisory Responsibilities


As a Delivery Station Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Process Assistants and Delivery Service Providers in daily management of the delivery station, including meetings, training sessions, assigning job duties, and communicating with FLEX drivers.



Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • Proven experience in a similar, innovative logistics or distribution environment.
  • Experience in employee and performance management.
  • Proven ability in establishing and carrying out root cause analysis, and then extracting and analyzing the data you generate.



Preferred Qualifications


It would be beneficial to have:


  • Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
  • Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
