About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Solutions Analyst to join our growing UK team at Sapiens. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Business Analyst to leverage their expertise in business analysis, gained from financial services, to drive the delivery of software solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate fully in the delivery of software solutions to our clients, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Be responsible for the documentation and production of project deliverables, including requirements, design, interface, and output documents.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, meeting the required standards and quality expectations.
  • Act as a consultant in requirement and design workshops, providing expert guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and engage with Lead BA/Project Director/Delivery Manager on all project deliverables, actions, assumptions, risks, issues, decisions, and constraints.
  • Support the Product Owner in defining and refining the backlog, ensuring alignment with business requirements and stakeholder expectations.
  • Review and sign-off all assigned user stories, ensuring they meet the required standards and quality expectations.
  • Support development throughout the build phase, including technical design, and review test scripts to ensure thorough testing.
  • Help define acceptance criteria and high-level estimates, ensuring accurate and realistic project planning.
  • Work to Sapiens processes and best practices, ensuring consistency and quality in all project deliverables.
  • Provide clients with functional analysis and design advice, guidance, and consultancy throughout the project.
  • Manage and participate in peer review activities, interacting with other Business Analysts to ensure quality and completeness of requirement and design work.
  • Support the definition and ongoing management of user stories, ensuring alignment with business requirements and stakeholder expectations.
  • Support the client through go-live and assist in resolving issues and queries.
  • Support and mentor more junior members of the team, ensuring knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, preferably in insurance or banking/investments.
  • Extensive project experience in financial services, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Customer-facing experience, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of SQL/relational databases and experience in implementing significant functional change.
  • Experience in full project lifecycle, with involvement in numerous system implementation or enhancement projects.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites, with international travel possible.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working in the early stages of a project, especially supporting pre-sales and scope definition activities.
  • Systems integration experience.
  • Previous experience working with a policy administration system.
