**Job Overview:**

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Respiratory Physiologist to join our team. As a key member of our Cardio-respiratory Department, you will be responsible for providing a high quality, patient-focused, efficient Respiratory service within the trust.

The successful applicant will possess a BSc in Clinical Physiology/Science and post-qualification experience working at Band 6 Senior Physiologist level. Your duties will include performing routine and specialized Respiratory diagnostic tests, monitoring and maintaining equipment calibration and quality control procedures, supervising less experienced staff, teaching/training students/trust staff, staying up-to-date with professional knowledge, and participating in research activities.

**Working for Our Organisation:**

The trust provides district general hospital services to nearly half a million people in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and mid Wales. Our main service locations are The Princess Royal Hospital in Telford and The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in Shrewsbury. Both hospitals offer a wide range of acute hospital services, including accident & emergency, outpatients, diagnostics, inpatient medical care, and critical care.

The Cardio-respiratory Department has bases at both hospital sites and supports service provision from the Community Diagnostic Centre, Hollinswood House. This centre is part of a countrywide NHS England initiative to increase access to diagnostic services.

**Estimated Salary:** £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
