Respiratory Physiologist Position

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Respiratory Physiologist to join their team in providing high-quality patient care.
With a permanent basis, this role will focus on delivering efficient and patient-focused respiratory services within the trust.
This position requires a BSc in Clinical Physiology/Science with post-qualification experience working at Band 6 Senior Physiologist level.
Main duties include:
- Providing a high-quality, patient-focused, efficient Respiratory service
- Working in conjunction with department manager and other staff to meet service needs
- Performing routine and specialized Respiratory diagnostic tests
- Monitoring and performing calibration and quality control procedures for all equipment
- Supervising less experienced staff
- Teaching and training students, trainees, and Trust staff
- Updating own professional knowledge
- Participating in research and development activities in Respiratory Medicine
In terms of salary, this position is expected to have an estimated annual salary range of £35,000 - £55,000, based on location and qualifications.
