About the Role

Arcus Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our cleaning and maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our Sainsbury's stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Conduct thorough cleaning activities, including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping, to ensure stores are kept clean and tidy
  • Perform tasks such as cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies, as well as maintaining trolley bays and outdoor areas
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied and followed

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience is beneficial, but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided
  • An eye for detail and cleanliness is essential
  • A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service is required
  • A smartphone with the capability to access our Arcus Connect App is necessary for recording time and attendance
