Job Summary:

Griffin Fire is seeking a highly skilled Fire Extinguisher Service Technician to join our team. As a Fire Extinguisher Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance and servicing of portable fire extinguishers, hose reels, and kitchen fire suppression systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance of fire safety equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure effective area planning to maximize travel time and time on customer premises.
  • Liaise with service administrators to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Approach all training positively and complete all duties in a professional manner.
  • Travel and some overnight stays may be required during the training period and busier months.

Requirements:

  • Experience in fire extinguisher servicing and a qualification to prove competence.
  • Technical background in the mechanical fire industry.
  • Experience of front-line customer service.
  • Previous experience of maintaining fire extinguishers is essential.
  • Flexibility to travel for work and training when required.
  • Full driving license.
